I've also posted this on Apple's Development Forum as I suspect that this may be an iPhone 12 HW or SW problem, but my problem is unique to the 2011 S80, so wondering if it could be car-related. I can't reliably pair my iPhone 12 with my 2011 S80 Bluetooth. I know how to do it, so no need for describing the process. I have been through countless cycles of adding the phone, removing the phone, adding it from the car vs. adding it from the phone, powering off car and phone, and NOTHING I do gives me a long-term reliable Bluetooth connection. The state of Georgia requires that handsfree operation of a cell phone, so I can't talk or answer a call on my phone when driving. Based upon what I see on the Apple site, this may be a Bluetooth problem with the iPhone 12 or iOS 14 rather than a car problem, but Apple has told some car owners that they need to upgrade the software in the car. Does Volvo even offer radio/Bluetooth software upgrades for their 2011 S80s?? My iPhone XS worked fine with my 2011 S80 and both phones work fine in my 2016 S80 -- it is just the 2011 S80 that has the problem. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks!
