Window wont roll down
I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere on this site. But my naivety to the online stuff and such I'm not finding it. My passenger window will not roll down all the way. I've tried the window reset waiting for clicks. Disconnecting battery cables touching them together and such. It's a new car to me. 2001 V70 XC all-wheel drive it's a beautiful car my fourth one but this is a puzzle. Ive taken apart all door controllers completely and cleaned them and put them back together. But this damn right side passenger window still will not roll down. It has that gremlin that a lot of the others have. Anyone solved this issue?

Im pretty sure theres some programming for the windows in VIDA . Does the window go back up by itself or does it just stop or does it do both like my windows. It could be due to a small amount of resistance, its a safety thing. My windows are not tinted so a few times ive locked the car and noticed a window fully open or partially open when i used the AUTO up button.

That window is controlled by its own computer if you can believe it. Did you try reprogramming the driver side window module? There are a few different ways to do it without VIDA-DICE.
- or google it.
If that does not work, remove the door panel and inspect the scissor arms and make sure the plastic sliding blocks are not broken, that's pretty common.
Not sure about the touching battery cables together thing, sounds like a recipe for disaster.
