Bleeding brakes after brake hose change
I have to change my brake hoses very soon and have purchased the parts for this job. My question is; what is the best method to do this? I've heard of people getting air bubbles in their ABS and so on. Should I use a suction kit from IPD or what.

Pressure bleeding or suction bleeding is really the best ways. If you get air in the ABS pump/unit it can be hard to remove. I gave up and gave it to the dealer.
What you can try to reduce how much fluid you loose is the loosen the flexi-hose both ends at the calipers and have the caliper and hose ready to re-fit. Cutting the finger off a latex or rubber glove and using a rubber band over the hose ends can also reduce the fluid loss. It is hard with modern cars to block the cap on the master cylinder to prevent air entering and therefore the fluid escaping from the master cylinder as it makes a vacuum in the system.
Topping up the master cylinder between hose changes to try to prevent it getting fully empty will also help
Neil.
