My 2001 V70 T5 Wagon has reached the end of the life of its second transmission, and I'm not going to put in a third one. It has about 220K miles, and it runs OK, not like new, but it passes smog. Everything about the car is pretty tired: the drivers seat has a couple of loose seams, both the front inside door handles have broken off, the suspension is stiff and clunky. The only accident it's ever been in was when I gently hit a post in a parking garage, you can see a little wrinkle in the driver's door as a result. Currently the car can be driven short distances, but the transmission doesn't stay in gear or shift reliably. If you're within, say, 10 miles, I'll drive the car to your house. If you're farther than that, you should tow it. It has IPD bars, Bilstein touring struts, and Kaplenkhe strut mounts, which are great btw. New-ish tires with substantial tread left. Comes with tire chains if you want them, and a set of spikes spiders. I've had it since new, it pains me to let it go, but it's time.

Always wanted to try using those strut mounts. Think I am outside the delivery radius.
Maybe I'll move.

Hey whats up man, i know you just mentioned you don't want to put a third transmission in it but i can recommend a place in Torrance called atlas transmissions hes a Volvo specialist and he will cut you a deal his name is jimmy turn around time is a few days i had my transmission done at 225,000 miles and he replaced a lot of stuff like new torque converter new valve body with solenoids and other things i think the total charge to me was like 1400.00 i am in Texas now and to have that same transmission rebuilt in my same wagon it would be 3500.00 bunch of BS if you ask me.
