Hi all,
I'm a new member and am sure this has been asked before so sorry in advance.
I have to replace my Xenon headlight assembly's due damaged (cracked lenses) and flickering but very expensive. I have a new set of Halogen headlight assembly's coming and wondering if I can just change them over. I understand from searching the internet that I will probably end up with bulb error message/light but I can put up with that.
My Xenon headlight wiring harness connector appears identical to my friends Halogen headlight wiring harness connector for same model 2006 XC-70 Cross Country. Will new Halogen headlights be just 'Plug and Play'?
For some reason was unable to attach the photos I have of both connectors?
Thanks for any advice.

If the wire size looks the same and it's 12V you could just try it out. Make sure the fuses for the Xenon and Halogen have just a 5 AMP differential.
