Happy holidays to everyone. Wherever you are, whatever you celebrate, and even if you don't celebrate anything, I give you all good wishes and hope you have a safe end of the year.

Thanks for everything you've done to help me with my car work this year and over the past 15 years. Thanks to Matthew for keeping this place running, the moderators for keeping it orderly, the pros for answering questions, and the inexperienced for asking them, all adding to a base of knowledge which benefits us all. You've collectively saved people loads of money in parts and labor, given people new repair skills, allowed our trusty old cars to keep driving when dealerships or mechanics might have given up, and just generally been a good group to hang out with.

Stay safe, stay warm (or cool if that's your preference), and keep on rolling.

They seemed to have a lot of money - helicopter, experts, video production. I’m thinking part of their costs are to clean it up.

Ah, as we close in on the last of 2021, I am preparing our 264K red wagon for another family trip! It’s because of this forum and it’s members that the car is in great shape and my independent mechanic offers to buy the car from me every time I take it in. That’s not likely to happen.
