2000 S70 just stoped turning over

Ok, my car just stopped starting one day, but leading up to it, it started to hesitate at times, then when I would turn the key, I got nothing not even the clicking, then if I kept turning the key eventually it would start. One day it stopped all together. I thought it was the battery, because I didn;t have the right size battery in it, it was too small, so i went and got a new one, the right size for my car, that didn't work, so then I got a Starter, put it in and that didn't fix the problem, then I got a new ignition switch, that didn't work. It's not the alternator, when I take the battery cables off it continues to run perfect. Now I am at a loss. I am a single woman and con not afford to take it to a Volvo Technician, I'm trying to do it myself, but nothing has worked. Please help. Also this all started after i replaced the radiator because of a crack. Please somebody give me some ideas i would so appreciate it and you. Thank you for your time. Beth

Is the car still exhibiting the problem of not starting or not cranking ( engine turning but not firing?)

Don’t disconnect battery cables while running, that’s really bad for things.

Does the car have automatic transmission?
If so...then PnP switch might be bad.

Did you tried to start the car in N position?

You covered all things which would prevent the car from cranking...battery and starter.

Did the starter came as a whole replacement unit(brand new or rebuilt unit)?

Bad PnP switch will also prevent the car from cranking.

NEVER,NEVER disconnect the battery on a car with bunch of ecu(s)!

You will fry ecu(s)...if not allready!

Starter relay or solenoid, maybe?
