Condition:
Runs well, good compression, and turbo pulls hard. It's been my daily driver for the last few years. It didn't come to the east coast until 2013. The rear sway bar mount broke and the rear trailing arm bushings need replaced. This caused uneven tire wear so the driveline was removed to prevent bevel gear damage. Rear suspension can be rebuilt as-is or converted to non-nivomat w/ stock springs and shocks from an S70 AWD. I have receipts and a work log going back to 2011. Parts were generally replaced with OEM or better from the usual suspects (Volvo, IPD, FCPEuro). I've fixed about everything I can and got it to stage 0, but it's time to move on.

Work done since 2018 / 223k miles:
Front right axle and hub
Front rotors and pads
Front struts, control arms, inner and outer tie rod ends, sway end links
Radiator(Valeo), thermostat(Volvo), coolant flush
Turbo Control Valve and Bypass Valve (IPD)
Resealed cam cover and new cam seals (Volvo)
Timing belt(gates blue), tensioner, idler, water pump
Oil pump seals and front main seal
New headlamp and turn signal assemblies
Transfer case flush
Transmission flush and new seals
Battery
Parking brake cables
Ignition coil harness
Fuel pump and filter
Motor/transmission mounts
PCV system (Volvo)

Spares:
An unmounted set of Continental ExtremeContact 205-55ZR-16 DWS for $400.
Driveline (original, with regreased joints)
Front right axle (CV joints are good but it needs a carrier bearing)
Misc bolts, spares, random hardware, ephemera, addenda, erik estrada, et cetera.

I have been looking for an 855/V70R for a long time. Please consider me as very serious and willing to transact ASAP, as I currently don't have a working car due to supply chain issues on necessary parts.

My biggest concern is rust -- what's the situation in that arena?

To clarify a couple questions I've received:

Pictures: The pictures are not linked properly on the forum. I'll put together an separate album and update the post with a link.

Running state: It runs and I drive it enough every 2 weeks to keep everything lubed and the battery charged. The following list of issues need fixed SOON:
- Rear trailing arm bushings (and maybe others) need replaced.
- Tires would not pass an inspection due to excessive and uneven wear. I would not trust them more than a few hundred miles. Your mileage (assessment) and appetite for risk may vary. Mounting new tires without fixing the trailing arm bushings will cause them to shred within a few thousand miles. As a reminder, this is AWD and requires matching tires or the bevel gear will self destruct.
- Rear driveline is removed, temporarily making this FWD. The original driveline is included so it can be reinstalled after trailing arm issue is resolved.

Rust is not bad.. for 23 years and 238k miles. No structural damage or rust-through. There are surface rust spots on the hood. The bottom trim on the tailgate glass is mostly rusted off, but that is only cosmetic and nothing leaks.

As a reminder, this is AWD and requires matching tires or the bevel gear will self destruct.

Removing the driveshaft also protects the bevel from self destructing , as -pdx has done
