XC60 Intermittent no start when pushing start button

2010 XC60 with keyless start. I put the fob in, depress the brake, hit the start/stop button and get nothing. Battery is good. Fob battery is brand new. I will take the fob out, put it back in and still nothing. This might go on for a number of tries. Then for no reason that i can determine it will start when pushing the button. I am worried that this is the beginning of a problem that at some point will leave me stranded.

Have you had any replies to your question below as I have exactly the same problem. The car was in the dealer service today but not fault found? Any clues/
