XC90 "Tractor" - wait what?

XC90 "Tractor" - wait what?
Spotted in Vail, Colorado two weeks ago. What does this mean? I think it's a reference to Volvos in Sweden that have been modified to become pickup trucks* with low gearing. Those allow drivers to be younger than a regular car allows. But those are called "Traktor", so I'm unsure of the connection.

I think, someone at Vail had a weird sense of humor and the money to change the Volvo label.
A quick google search found several explanations of "Volvo Tractors". Here is one with lots of photos https://www.curbsideclassic.com/automot ... a-traktor/.
Worth seeing these.
A side note. I am half owner of the remains of a pickup conversion of a 1937 Ford sedan. The trunk area was cut out and helper coil springs added to the rear axle. Oklahoma vintage of course.

I had to go out and scrape off all my window tint. Now, my T5 is cool again.

Could be a Vail “slumming” thing. Or maybe that’s the new Volvo they gave their kid.

We had the unfortunate experience of getting our 2017 xc90 broken into and the rear seat glass is actually black with no tint film. We’re still finding pieces of it everywhere.
Looking for a V90 to be my next Volvo, at the very least a T5.
2017 XC90 Inscription - My best Volvo by far, but Ex-wife departed & I had to sell.
2001 S80 T6 - rebuilt trans, head gasket, fixed & sold
1997 V70 - kid car, sold
1996 850 GLT - found under bridge, 2 year refurb project, commuter car, kid car, T-Boned - SIPS saved passenger. Totaled.
1997 VW GTI VR6 - exceedingly fast.
1971 VW Type II/231 - it was pointed out by management that the children would be killed in it.

I wanted to scrape the tint from the back of our P2 wagon, but as you found, the film is in the glass laminate. Sad face.
I removed it all from the 850, which came from Texas.
