Hello, my 1997 volvo v70 2.0 GLT (226hp) has a problem that I can't solve, it works well at idle and when rolling, it only fails and staling if I pull down at end the accelerator in hight rotation (2 / 3000rpm), if I pull down the accelerator slowly it goes well, when start fail I get up slowly and goes well again.
I already changed the spark plugs, spark plug wire and MAF but the problem remains, any ideas?
Maybe the turbocharger control valve?
Thank you

Often induction leaks lead to poor running with turbos. Either a smoke test or carefully remove each hose, inspect, and reclamp the entire path from MAF to the intake manifold

That 2 liter engine didnt come here in the States (Italy, Ill guess?) but basically follow the Big hoses over the top of the engine, loosen each clamp, remove hose and inspect for softness, reclamp
When you get to the bottom of the intercooler/ radiator, the top is where continue in the middle of course.
Cover the openings so you dont drop a socket into the turbo
You really need good quality clamps on these hoses. Poor ones wont last as long as will rust out and come off, like this guy....

HI,
It's from Europe (Portugal) I already check all that hoses and clamps, the engine it's in very good condition from carrosion, also I have checked all vaccum hoses and replace some ones a little years ago.

I don't know how check turbocharger control valve, but it is one possibility, no?
Thank you

When car have LPG system installed...it is harder to properly track down the problem.
There is a LOT of splicing into original wiring loom and problem could be anywhere.
Are there any codes stored?
Is check engine light on?

Yes, it's very hard found the problem, may be I've the expende high value for genuine spark plugs and wires.
I've cable and VolFCR and no DTC errors, nothing, never pup up the light, to test any fails of software I disconnect the MAF connector and the light pup on, so all communications is OK
I'm doubts about one exhaust valve burned, it's a possibility on this issue?
Thank you

If there is a burnt valve...engine wouldn't have a compression on that cylinder and it would misfire all the time...running on 4 cyl.
