850 Corner light specification help, please

Hi folks,
Somewhere in upstate New York, there is a clear lens lying roadside from the driver's corner light on the '97 850 base.

Using my VIN, FCP says I need Volvo part number 6808834. IPD says the OEM number is 6817769. Carparts says the OEM number is 68177690. The part seems to be listed variously as a corner light, a combined light, or a turn signal light.

Does anyone have advice on how to determine which I might need, and if I should get additional items- spring clip, receptacle, etc?

I think, the difference is between single and dual bulb headlights. Each apparently uses a difference corner light... at least that's what I am thinking given what I've seen when looking at lights.

I’ve got a couple of V70 lights, will those fit or does the sexy v70 curves ignore Mr Boxy 850?

V70 ones are different.
Early 850 ones will also not fit('92-'94).
'95-'97 will.

Thanks, gentlemen. Car and I are separated by 350 miles. With your help I am getting closer to a solution. Car has two-lamp headlight and the roughly 5” tall unit. Choices are narrowing!

I can look in local yard there are 850's there. Often these corners are missing or beat up. I expect to be there early next week, doubt I'll be charged more than a few bucks if I am lucky enough to find a good one. I can make sure it's complete with spring, etc. though yours is in place I'm sure. I think the fit of the e-bay versions is fine IIRC, however.

A key part to look at from a junkyard, 850 corner light (aside from the spring) is the mounting tab, these are usually broken.

I will check if she passes Erie VoVo, and those junkyard pro tips are much appreciated! I went ahead and ordered a new part from Eeuroparts. I have not been able to source the attaching spring, so I will have to be careful in the swap-out. Thanks again for your help.
