1999 ME7 purge valve cycle

At highway speeds, aboutevery12 minutes, my ME7 purges the evap canister for a bit less than a minute

It will not complete the readiness cycle if the AC is on. The readiness cycle is the dance it goes through before it decides that the evap system is working ok. I’m not sure how often it does this.

On edit. It tries to do this on every drive cycle. Having Ac on is one of the things that will cancel the test. User lexia posted the entire cycle and which codes get set in which phase, that thread isearcheable under that user name in this Forum

I believe it will still purge, which is a simple opening of the purge valve on the radiator to suck the canister clean
