New to me is a 2006 V70 base model, Barents Blue with Kilen Taupe interior fabric on the seats and the doors. Fabric is in good shape- no rips, snags or pilling. It will benefit from cleaning and stain removal. I plan to use upholstery cleaner and vacuum extraction on the seats.
The door cards, however, may present a different challenge. There is grime and staining at the driver arm rest. We all know the adhesive on these interior door panels to be weak, resulting in separation of the leather from the card itself. The same separation may possibly be in early stages with this fabric- not certain. It makes me reluctant to use suction for fear of pulling the fabric away from the backing. Also a little concerned about cleaning agents disolving the glue.
Any advice would be appreciated. Could be your previous successes and failures with this fabric, cleaning techniques, or swapping door card stories. Thank you!
PS. Car is quite nice. One owner, dealer maintained, 150,000 miles. The woman to whom it was titled drove it well up into her late 90s. She is now approaching 100 years old. I hope to be so fortunate as to be rowing through the gears in my late 90s!

Yes Sir, I did. Could not say no. It's getting to be an issue. 850LPT was an accomplice, for which I am grateful.
