2009 XC70 fuel tank removal

I'm new to this forum and appreciate any advice or information. I have an evap code and a bad exhaust/fuel oder when sitting still and idling. Took it to a dealership today. They said the problem is a hole in a hose attached to the fill neck and that the tank will need to be dropped. Has anyone done this? I cannot find a video, a text entry, or pics of this being done online for this model and year range. I'm willing to purchase a manual. If no one here has experience with this task, does anyone have a manual that includes a description or photos? If so, please let me know the manual I should purchase. Thanks in advance for any assistance!
