Thanks Py for posting this information. If you don’t have the diagnostic boxes and are having trouble with a commercial code reader your OBD-II port might not be exactly what your code reader is looking for. In this case, you can make your own code reader that you can use like the original diagnostic boxes. Page 2 of this thread explains how!

    my volvo is s70 GLT turbo ; and the car shows the check engine light, the code is po172
    system too rich (bank 1) . can you please help me ,were to start so i can fix this problem. thanks for your help.
