Agree!! Purchased new 850 (1996). Current 74,000 miles. List of major repairs: >Three new batteries >Driver's door loose. Hinge broke off from body had to be welded back on. >Motor mounts replaced >Brake job @ 2 times, including rotor. >Air injection Check Valve replacement >Fuel Pump replacement >Fuel injector replacement >High oil usage. 1 qt. per 1,000 miles. (Volvo says it is normal) >Gas door lock replacement >Rear tail gate lock This does not include the repetitive electrical problems that were fixed under warranty. Volvos used to be a good cars. NO MORE. My new car is a TOYOTA.
