Not sure of what car model you have but I think it is probably similar on most cars. For most cars, disconnect the battery,carefully pry the outter rubber center covering (this will expose the airbag). Carefully disconnect the airbag electrical connections and remove the airbag. At this point, the center nut holding the steering wheel to the steering shaft will be exposed. (Depending on the model, the blinker assembly will need to be removed). Pull the steering wheel.
