My 1989 740 Turbo doesn't want to start when it is heated up. This usually happens after driving and turning the engine off for short periods, like running into the store for milk. After letting it sit for 10-15 minutes it starts and runs fine. Today it was 95 degrees outside temp. Car would not start all day. After sun went down and temp droped to about 75, I tried again and it started, no problem. Mechs don't want to touch it. Say they would have to hold on to it until they can duplicate problem. Any suggestions?
