Because of the speed limit near my residence, I always drive well below 2400 rpm... and after starting the car, I am at the 1700 rpm, at the max, until I reach 6o km speed limit... this takes a while.... also when I am reaching at my residence I have to drive through the neighbourhood ( 40 km limit) for a while before stopping the engine.

Now since I drive my car for short intervals - at the max 40 mins but mostly 10 mins... - I still have to keep the warming-up period of 3 to 4 mins and after stopping the car, keeping the engine running for 4 to 5 mins for the turbo to cool down..., with this regards my question is that if I am driving the car for so much of short period of time and that before approaching at my residence at very low speed and low rpm... do I still have to observe the same warm-up time and the idling time before shutting of the engine... especially when I actually drive for 4 to 5 mins two times a day and for that I have to warm-up for 4 mins and cool down for about the same period.....

regards
