That sounds like my car which I purchased used in 1996, (850 1994).
I'm on my third or 4th battery. Windshield wiper flew off the window
when I used it. Shift lever wouldn't go out of park. Luckily I bought
an extended warranty and most of that was covered. Now my power seat back
in driver's, won't go forward so I'm almost in a reclining position.
I use a pillow.
