You don’t need to clamp small vacuum lines, they stay on pretty well.
Small zip ties work great , though.
If you do oetikers,put an extra one on the hose so if you do have a crack, you can trim the hose end and reclamp in a jiffy.

Where does that U brace go , Alistair? If it is not firing It’s a fuel or ignition issue. You can have a huge vacuum leak and will still get some fire going
