Bolt ID & Specification (x2)

Hello,

I'm looking for some information on two different bolts. I have the part number for one, but cannot find it for the other. I need to replace these parts, so would very much appreciate knowing the thread size and pitch. None of the heads of the bolts on my car are matching, and the bolts themselves are seized in. As such, I do not wish to remove them to measure them up until I have the replacements (the car is in daily use).

The first one, with part number, is used to bolt on the exhaust hanger bracket with P/N 985186 (Superceeded by 982794, 981565).

The second is the bolt in the battery tray which is located in the centre of the tray and fastens the cruise control pump. I have no part number for this, as I cannot find one. But it is the bolt that goes through the far left hole of Part 2 in this image.

A bit of a long shot, but I appreciate any guidance.

Isn’t the second one 982793 from the list below your image?

No, sir, that bolt is one of the two bolts the secure the battery tray. The bolt Im trying to find is smaller (definitely smaller than M12, but cant tell if M10 or M8 as my bolts head has rusted away), and is the only other bolt in the battery tray. It sits further to the US passenger side of the engine bay on the tray, in the central groove. I'll grab a picture when British summer stops living up to its name.

It’s probably an m6 , 6 mm shank, 10 mm hex head but I’ll take a look at mine this am

If this is it is an 8 mm hex head which will make it an M4 1 mm pitch bolt
