The air filter on the XC70 is on the driver side so it would have to go there unfortunately, and not passenger side, will have to investigate some more I'm putting this in the Feb MVS Newsletter, get you some responses and ideas, hopefully. I'm guessing the car will stop working with water everywhere before having a snorkel is an issue. It's a slightly higher road cruiser after all. So don't rely on it. But for the looks, sure go for it and make sure you post pictures!

Good thing it doesn't snow in Alaska in the summer... just saw this on FB in a Colorado car group I'm in.... we just had a snowstorm.

I would be careful trying to dive with these cars.. Even just on the road, there have been issues with water ingress, firewall harness not sealing properly, water leaking on computer modules hard to diagnose. I wouldn't go deeper than 1ft water, even the transmission has a breather pipe that may suc...
