Door Lock Cylinder Not Responding
I have a problem with my S60 06 when I put in my keys to the driver door, it does not respond to me turning left or right on the cylinder. And there are other annoyances such as when I push down on the door lock stick, it would go back up and then down again in random intervals for 2-3 seconds until...

Re: New Member New to Volvo
I smelled burning oil when I stopped today. The oil was near the bottom of the ok marks. I topped it off with 5w-20. Ok, I know you just put in some oil, but I think you should just do a full oil change while your at it. The engine is rated to accept 0w-30, 0w-40, 5w-30, and 10w-30. Hopefully the e...

Re: Question about IPD control arms?
I have both of them from IPD at over 2000 miles. There's really not much to them, but they claim to have more virgin rubber on the arms and a better grease and silicone boot; both an upgrade to OE especially up north. They also told me their parts are backed by lifetime warranty as well, but I haven...

Re: Fuel pump has a crack, which replacement?
There are about six different versions of the fuel pump. Did you contact a site like FCPEuro or IPD so that they could lead you to the right one? They just need the vin#. It's selling for 150-200 on FCP depending on which one it is. Not really expensive, plus you get a lifetime warranty and customer...

Re: No heat and little air coming from the vents
No cleaning won't help if you can put it on max heat and you still get nothing. You can open up all of the plastic pieces that goes below the shifter and below the steering wheel and glovebox, set key to position II and mess with the climate control to actually look at the mechanism to see if it mov...

Re: No heat and little air coming from the vents
I'd definitely say it's clogged.I've tried most of the stuff you did; even did a heater core flush a few times to no avail. Not sure how far north you are, or if you got a warm garage to do this. But you are gonna have to do a coolant flush if you didn't already; a new heater core, two pipe clamps, ...

Re: Volvo V70 II no low beam adjuster mechanism
I believe so, you only really need to adjust your low beams because that's the one that will be always on, for the most part, at night; high beams will always be straight, and turn signal lights are just signals. So as long as the drivers side is 5cm lower than the passenger side, then you should be...

Re: 2006 V70R AWD Auto -- Radio Volume Increasing Spontaneously
Next time you drive somewhere, just parking, or waiting for someone; just turn off the radio and turn the volume knob back and forth a million times. I'm guessing the knob gear is dirty, so just spin it for a bit and see if you stop getting the spontaneous increase.
