It's worth cleaning, and also posting up your throttle body part number in case we have some folks nearby who have a spare to test and try. Just remind them to take the R train, not the R Volvo.

The part number is 30711553. But will it solve the check engine problem I am having ? Running out of avenues and time to fix it, also my temp inspection sticker expired. Won't know until you give it a cleaning. My faulty ETM was throwing the P0101 alone. The ECM wasn't pointing at the ETM soley but...

To properly diagnose the throttle body you need a program called VIDA And an afternoon to run the tests on the throttle body, you can’t test it with standard equipment.
