Thanks for your post and welcome to MVS.
Did you by chance take any pictures? It's good to know that a fix for earlier models also applies to the P2's ('01 and newer).

Re: The fan is electric, right?
Found it...the connector was way down in the bottom of the engine bay, couldn't see it when the fan was installed.
Man, this car has an appetite for torx wrenches. It's eaten two on this job alone!

Re: 2001 S60 Can't find low pressure port for A/C
There are two service ports on a P2. The low pressure one is immediately in front of timing belt cover on the line that runs along the frame rail. The one up on front top plate is the high side that you do not need. The DIY charge kits will fit the port in front of engine but you need one with a foo...

Radiator cooling fan issues
I have read that the radiator fan on the S80 is dependent on the A/C and not temperature. Is this true? I have a 2004 S80 T5 that I bought a little over a year ago. The fan has run from the time that I started it until the 3-5 minute period after shut-off. I didn't have a problem with it until 3 day...

Re: Radiator cooling fan issues
I found out that the A/C compressor needed to be replaced. Once it was replaced and charged, fan operation returned to normal.Brentscrazyptwo wrote: ↑23 Mar 2019, 08:40 Theoneforeva, how was your issue resolved? My S60 2.5T AWD is doing the same thing. Thanks!

I then removed the new one from the new housing and replaced the old one with it. Still have a new housing but, i replaced th...

Re: ATF flush and pre-additives?
I have had good luck with the SeaFoam Tranny additive. I have had good luck with Valvoline Max Life. Others don't like the Max Life as they claim it is too thin. They may be right in their applications. Were it me I would get a gallon of Max Life and put in the Seafoam (1/2 can). Do a drain and fill...

Re: 06 XC90 2.5 engine swap...Can I use an XC70 2.4?
The XC90 didn't have an RNC, the RNC was reserved for the P1 and P3 cars. The XC90 2.5T is an RN just like the rest of the P2 cars. You can use the 2.5 from the XC90, there are only very minor differences on the 2.5T. You will not use the intake VVT control on the 2.5, as your 2.4T only has exhaust ...

Re: 2.3T engine swap with 2003 XC70 2.5T?
I'll update tomorrow and let you know. For what I paid, I could scrap it at no loss worst case.
