Re: Rusted Flange Screws 2007 V70 2.5t
Same problem here. My black ones were perfect while others were crumbling away with severe rust. I was happy they turned out. Come 2007, the last year for the P2's run, the parts feed to the assembly lines must've gotten irregular. The good news was that the hardware bins in my local hardware store ...

Re: Rusted Flange Screws 2007 V70 2.5t
Here's the parts diagram for the section you're looking at - I think the screw and washer in question are #17 and #18.

Re: Rusted Flange Screws 2007 V70 2.5t
You can get them at a good hardware. Take out one of each location and measure from under head to end of threads, in mm.
A wrecker that allows you to harvest those parts off severely crashed unuseable parts of cars is also a good source.

Re: Rusted Flange Screws 2007 V70 2.5t
Your engine bay looks immaculate! I have managed to get mine washed really well, but I haven't taken the time to shine out the aged black plastic covers. Good work! I am a big fan of raiding our local Pick-n-Pull junkyards for this kind of hardware because they don't charge for odd nuts and bolts. I...

Re: Rusted Flange Screws 2007 V70 2.5t
Sorry for seeming to abandon this thread.
The site's downtime and the unexpected death of my sister derailed me for a while.
I remember my header panel screws being the same length.

Re: Rusted Flange Screws 2007 V70 2.5t
I think someone earlier had that panel off amdlost the original screws.
I would leave the trans oil line alone, it’s going to take a long time for surface rust to go throughout the pipe, like a decade.

Re: 2007 V70 2.5t Transmission Fluid Level
I only check my transmission fluid after about an hour of running. I pull over to a perfectly flat spot with the engine running, and put it in park. Pull the stick out and clean it completely, and put it back in and pull it out to check the level. All while the engine is running. Not fun or easy. On...

Re: 2007 V70 2.5t Transmission Fluid Level
Not sure if there's an official drain and fill quantity, but I use 3 and 1/3 Quarts as my amount. Then I check it like I mentioned above. Very little oil is needed to go from the low mark to the high mark. All I know from many drain and fills is, 3.7 quarts and a bottle of Lubeguard is overfilled. S...

Re: 2007 V70 2.5t Transmission Fluid Level
It is important to measure what you remove and put back the same amount. Can just put the old in a bottle, mark the level, empty and refill with fresh, then pour in transmission . What fluid did you use ?
