Re: AC Delete 99 S70 N/A - (Seized Compressor)
The path of least resistance in my mind is to grab a replacement compressor from a pick-n-pull. Hooking the lines back up will help to keep the crap out of them. Re: General Tips for DIY Head Gasket Replacement - 99 s70 na
Those compression readings sure do look like a head gasket failure. It’s a big labor job, but it’s stupid labor

The best way to check for a head gasket leak with these cars is to get the engine up to temp then try to ease the coolant reservoir cap off with the engine running. If coolant tries to rush out of the reservoir and you r...

After a few days of soaking, scrubbing, and brushing with 'mean green,' the inside of the camshaft cover is sparkling: IMG_4781.jpg I do wonder, though, if I should be concerned about these marks near/on the section of the camshaft cover where the seals (I think) would normally sit: IMG_4781.jpg ca...

If you are asking about the bell shaped tube, this is the fuel line. You will need a special fuel line tool to push into the big end of the bell and release the clips. There is an oring that makes the seal. The tools are common but are various sizes. They don't cost much. You can do this with a smal...

That’s the canister shut off valve with the broken hose. It might be broken on the air side which won’t affect much. The rectangular black box is the carbon canister
Your fuel tank issue is caused by a bad head gasket, though.
