Re: Oil Pressure Gauge and wideband A/F
Maybe I could custom install the wideband into a downpipe by having a machine shop drill in an extra hole and add the appropriate thread size. That way I would be adding the sensor without taking the narrowband away. I could just wire the wideband to the gauge so the ECU would be in the same situati...

Re: 1995 850 GLT performance mods
Happened across this insanely thorough writeup of a guy going crazy on an NA850 and I thought if this conversation.
Just confirms what Matt said. The cost/benefit ratio is just not there unless your as into it as that guy.

Re: Tracking down P0171
Thanks regent and JRL. If this gets much more complex I'll just grab two o2 sensors. Main reason for holding off on them is that I'll be doing an exhaust at some point here and have read new o2 sensors are a necessity then. Turned off the battery today twice but don't think I ever got a full drain. ...

Re: 1998 V70 Remote Start AFTERMARKET
As somebody whod prefer not to install a remote start myself bigger issue than brand/type is the shop installing it IMO. If you ever run into problems no shop usually wants to deal with these systems unless they did the install originally. Of course if you’re handy enough to install and fix them tha...

Re: Hoping this the easy, cheap and effective TPMS set I’ve always wanted
Just to follow-up after a few weeks of running the sensors: - Each tire is read separately and updates once every 2-3 minutes it seems. Can update at 30-40 feet away from the tire it seems. - Sensors won’t work without these little golden colored screw on washers that go on the valve stem before you...

Re: 1999 V70 Check transmission, Not sure I trust the mechanic
Finding the tools, equipment, and space for a tranny drain and fill for the OP is gonna be a significant pain and might not address what’s wrong, probably wouldn’t address all that’s wrong. I’m a service writer at a non-Volvo dealer, dealerships get a bad rap, often well-deserved, but in a situation...

Re: buy control arms or press bushings?
Replacing the bushings without a press is going to be a nightmare. Id touch base with the shop you want to just replace the bushings beforehand.

Re: Issue with FEQ axles
Like 460 some after I return the core on RF under my employer’s account.
I think that’s just list, but given the convenience I’m not complaining as long as it works at this point.
