Re: Should I bother
I wasn't aware that compression test should be done at wot so I decided to do one again before tearing into the head gasket job today. # 1 cyl cold was 100; added a cap full of oil and it went up to 140. Now I'm beginning to think that I have a ring issue. If that's the case should I even bother do...

Re: Should I bother
If i remember correctly you said that engine use 1 quart/3k miles, that's 1l/5000km...that's nothing. If there are no visible signs that engine use oil (blue smoke from exhaust on WOT or when you decelerate with engine)...i would leave it alone. Upper limit for oil consumption is 1l/1000km. 850 T5 Dealer Promotional film
I thought you might enjoy this film. I was looking for the Promotional film for the first R that got me so excited in 94. Cars just got better and better every year up through the early 2000s. Now they just get more gimmicky... Even brands i thought would never give in like RR have. Recently I went ...

Re: CEL question for the day
I always feel like one instance of a CEL is not enough evidence to speculate or do repairs on. I'd see if it comes back after another ~300 miles.

Re: Boring out turbo manifold for n.a. throttle body
Top stuff. Easier, in my opinion, than drilling and tapping an N/A manifold. You're also guaranteed to have better airflow as its obviously going to be matched! Whilst you've got the gear out, do the runners too - theyare far from a perfect transition.

Re: Barbecue Sauce MVS
Or Texas or North Carolina :) Kansas City is the one big on sauces ( wet rub ) and there is a lot of choices in sauces and meats. With KC the sauce and the fries are the signature ingredients. Memphis uses wet or dry rubs. Carolina is limited to a thin vinegar and spice sauce. Only South Texas styl...
