Doing the same bushing replacement on our 2006 XC70. I ended up modifying galvanized end caps. Al you need for tools is a 1/2” drill, drill and grinder with a flex disc. You need to remove the air intake hose (the one running from filter box to turbo).

Yeah, these ones always crack and can be replaced with silicone hoses, no problem. They are here only for EVAP system vacuum. The TCV hoses felt to me like a bit different kind of hose. More rigid, maybe different rubber compound. If you don't have problem with turbo, don't replace them.

I'm trying to replace the vacuum hoses connected to the turbo, but find it difficult to access the hose clamps at the turbo's end: Is there any tricks to get to those? Special tools, access from below, or just try to work it with some pliers from above? For the small spring clamps in tough to reach...

Did they actually update that bracket? It looks like the same one that’s on my car. That first link from vtl is a typo, it links to the original style bracket (Volvo).
