Seems "about" right.
However, if you run into more problems, let me know, I can take a whole bunch of photos of my setup for the sake of future reference.

Re: Could this be why I’m still getting code P0117?
Sorry but from your picture it is hard to orientate my brain cell. Looking at the pictures in the link looks like it is the ECT connector which is the engine coolant temp sensor. That connector and the wires to it are known problems. If you have replaced the ECT with an OE one and are still having a...

Re: Could this be why I’m still getting code P0117?
Should have added, this can cause poor starting, and particularly when hot.

Re: Could this be why I’m still getting code P0117?
Those connectors suck when they start to get old. Why can't you drain the coolant? Collect it into a container and reuse it. You either need to replace the sensor, or try and clean the connections up and hope that helps. The harness side connector on my '97 T5 just fell apart when I was doing one wo...

Re: Can I get this pin/rod out?
Undo the circlip pictured, and the the pin (plus the flared base its attached too, will pull off from the back of the cylinder. Be careful of the spring which will probably come loose too. Pictures to follow: IMG_20201010_154756[1].jpg IMG_20201010_153949[1].jpg This can be done with the lock cylind...

Re: Could this be why I’m still getting code P0117?
Well glad you got a way forward and like you said that replacing the connector or direct wiring may be the way to go with heat-shrink on the join. PITA if you have to change again but do-able. Leave extra wire and you can just snip and re-connect a new one if you ever need one.

70 series door handle locking tumbler rod replacement
This is a task that requires EXTREME patience and precision. I broke and then replaced the rod on the locking tumbler on my XC early this year and forgot to take pictures and make a post for it. So here it is at least 6 months late. I am making this on request for a fellow MVS member. I apologize fo...

Re: How important is this gasket?
Well I found another post here that said that cars with the orange injectors did not have that retainer. Cars with blues or whites did. I'm going out to the junkyard today to look at a recent arrival so I'm going to check this out. Seems like the two bolts hold the fuel rail down so I don't see how...

Re: How important is this gasket?
gas is funny stuff . I once drove my bronco all the way to new hampshire on a hot summer day and smelled gas when I arrived. Its a big V 8 with a carb huge flat intake manifold next to the carb is a large depression that held about 8 ounces of liquid gas merrily boiling from the heat of the engine. ...

Re: Should I do an oil change?
What?
Just top up what you have until it reads correctly, with whatever you need. Sounds like a quart or so.
