Re: FDPP #2
It went from Columbus, Ohio, to Toledo, Ohio, and now it's in Detroit, Michigan??? Was the scenic route included in the shipping? :shock: I know people make mistakes, and if that's the only one to happen this week then I'm ok with it. My fiance is having surgery tomorrow morning, and I'm really hopi...

Re: 2002 V70 T5 Wagon New Fuel Pump
What's your battery voltage reading? It doesn't take long to run the battery down, especially if you've been trying to start it over and over again. Every time the key goes into the II position, it turns on all of the computers in the car, plus primes the fuel pump, turns the drl on, among other thi...

Re: Cancer/illnesses, and caregiver, support thread
I lost a friend from high school to non-hogkins lymphoma when he was only 21. My aunt passed away from breast cancer, my grandma from colon cancer, and my uncle from testicular cancer (he was 53). I took care of my grandma, and my uncle, all the way to the end. There's nothing worse, that I've seen,...

Re: Cancer/illnesses, and caregiver, support thread
Sorry for the long post, I just have a lot on my mind that I need to get out. I have PTSD (no, I wasn't in the military), and panic disorder, among other health issues, and life has gotten a lot harder since the shut-in started. My fiance started having biopsies done before COVID, and after the self...

Re: FDPP #2
Software was transferred to the S70 ETM so it should work on my S60 now. Not able to test it yet, unfortunately. I still have a few things to finish buttoning up first. (I need the torque specs, and sequences, for the intake manifold, ETM, dipstick hold down, and fuel rail bolts.) Thank you pete, c9...

Re: Cancer/illnesses, and caregiver, support thread
I've been seeing a psychologist weekly for the last 9 years. There's a lot that I struggle with from my past, and I finally got to the point that I was begging for help. I've been in a few mental hospitals, and I'm thankful for that. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the help I received back...

Fuel Injector Electrical Plug Replacement With Pictures
Replacement fuel injector connectors These are what I used to replace my broken electrical connectors. They fit perfectly, and are a lot cheaper than getting them from Volvo. The last price I saw was $25 for 1 connector, and this is a set of 8 for less than $20. No need to cut the factory wiring to...

Re: Fuel Injector Electrical Plug Replacement With Pictures
You're welcome. I meant to do the write up when I changed them on the car, but I couldn't really hold my phone to show everything as detailed as I could this way. The nice bonus is there's 3 extra connectors in the kit. I would strongly recommend that you practice with at least one of the new ones, ...

Re: coil spring spacers
Spring rate=(G(D^4))/(8N(M^3))
G=11,250,000
D=Wire diameter in inches
N=Number of active coils
M=Mean coil diameter in inches (Outer diameter of coil spring minus wire diameter)
Not sure if that helps anything, but that'll give you the spring rate in pounds/inch.
