Re: torque specs, and sequence, needed
No sequences on these other than standard practice of getting it seated firmly before you come to spec Not too tight either ! INTAKE MANIFOLD 19Nm ETM and dipstick aren’t listed so I would use 25 Nm for an M8 bolt Found it. 17 Nm for ETM Fuel rail 6 Nm Torque on all these is non-critical. Don’t let ...

Re: torque specs, and sequence, needed
In tight space with no room for torque wrench, here is the trick. Find a torque wrench and place it on a wheel bolt for practice. - One (1) finger placed with the mid-part of the finger (middle phalanx) at let's say 12" on the torque wrench, max I can produce is 10 Nm. So at 6", all I can ...

Re: FDPP #2
Got back to the house, and did an Extended diagnostic code read. This is the first time I've had any codes show up doing the deeper diagnostic code reading, and I have two codes ETM-917F and ETM-951F. Re: Cancer/illnesses, and caregiver, support thread
Yes I try to talk to him as often as I can. Problem is the 8 hour time difference, but we get there once in a while. Weekends are the hardest for him as that is when he gets too much time to think but that is when he won't answer a call. Appreciate the thoughts and likewise mine are with you as you ...

Re: Cancer/illnesses, and caregiver, support thread
Glad you have been seeking out help over the years. It is always easier to hide from your own issues by looking out for others. Problem with that (as you know) is it builds and builds inside you. Re: FDPP #2
Glad to hear it's running well now! Hopefully this was the biggest hurdle, and you'll just need to do small stuff from this point to get it all straightened out.
750 RPM is right where it should be, my brother's '03 idles right around there.

Re: FDPP #2
If that fixed your problem, it is a good idea to search for a spare gas pedal with low mileage so you can use it later.
Also, get a used PEM from junk yard too. At this age, your PEM can go any time.

Re: Do I have 140hp or 170hp from the factory?
In North America the 2.4 na had 168hp. European markets have a different 'marketing' when it comes to engine size and power, so Volvo sold them the exact same engine but with an ECU mod that cut the hp down to 140hp on the base model - they could still get the 168hp model for extra money. They also ...
