i never buy from rock bottom auto, ebay is seeing a lot of those chinese counterfeit parts too.
brand new parts such as bosch coils, fake, even the oem boxes are faked.

A buddy did that to make NLA engine mount for his mitsubishi sports car.
Baked it in the oven a few hrs per the directions and it works.

i dont think it has pem or fps in 2002, those came after 2004.
its likely not building enough fuel pressure, you need a pressure gauge to prove it.

I paid $2K 8 yrs ago for a salvage title 04 v70 and its been very good.

my 04 v70 the rad came out ok but would not go back without removing the intercooler, reinsert both together at the same time.
A block of wood on a trolley jack lifted them into place.

The big nut on the balljoint should loosen with the impact wrench, its a tapered stud so put some force on the joint to jam the stud from spinning. The counterhold in the stud isn't much use except when installing new. Try a small jack under the control arm near the balljoint nut to jam the balljoin...

its a good time to get a endoscope/boroscope for smartphone, $40 amazon, get one with the light and mirror.
if theres anything up there you'll find it, might just be acorns from squirrels.
