Re: Tricks for finding a coolant leak
I could smell it, I knew wherte the leak was but white deposit was barely visible. When the car was hot I saw tiny bubbles coming from the corners of the coolant bottle. Spraying some dishsoap water showed bigger bubbles. Try smearing liquid soap around the coolant banjo bolts at the turbo. Or do th...

Re: 2006 S60 2.5T AWD Parking Brake? Problem
Heres how it went for me, I figured its a 90 minute job. Once the adjustment is all used up with no more threads the cables are stretched out. Its not something you wa...

Re: car won't start. - 2009 - S60
I don't think a scanner will show fuel pressure bcause there is no pressure sensor on your fuel rail and it isn't reported to the ECM,, to me that means it dosn't have a PEM, so you need a fuel pressure gauge to read fuel pressure at the rail. I suspect a weak pump, reading the fuel pressure will co...

Re: car won't start. - 2009 - S60
My car is the same.
no sensor = no PEM is my understanding.
Fuel pressure is regulated inside the tank but it doesn't send any pressure information to the ECM.
Your fuel pump runs continuously.
PEM equipped systems are switched on and off by fuel pressure .

Re: Steering - rebound/"bounce" at steering limits
I'd check the rubber steering stops that are bolted to the control arms, if they're missing it will cause oversteer.
Examine the wheel liners for tire rub marks.
