Re: Vida CEM swapping
I have fantastic news. It all works...Finally. The CAN stuff at least. I could not get VIDA to work because of my socket code. But I managed to dump my maps in as little as 15-19 seconds. No need for K-line stuff, no "tester present" frames. I had to put all modules to sleep with FF86, the...

Re: Best Place To Break Through The Engine Compartment Firewall
Dozens of holes. Especially the main engine harness, I would re-use those IF possible, they can be quite tight for obvious reasons.

Re: i need opinions on your ownership experience
In 2023 a 2003 car is strictly for enthusiasts, who are willing to dump their time and money into a new toy. Not really so. In my country, cars which are '99 are being sold and bought all the time. People just cannot afford much newer than that. Not to mention they always go for LPG cars as well. S...

Re: 2000 S70 NA, Swapping in 2.3 T from 2004 C70
The wiring and the module programming. Are they both H-shaped. I know for My2005+ with the updated CEM it was possible to reconfigure the CEM as it was modular. For the pre-facelift H-shaped modules, I am not sure. Maybe T5Luke knows. Basically it is wiring and then modules. You will need to be due ...

Re: B5234T? N Blocks!
On a different forum I believe user dougy could install the new tensioner on the old blocks by grinding a bit of material of the block. He did this as he was building a R version engine with a 2.3T block. However which tensioner exactly, I can't say. Take my info with a grain of salt of course since...

Re: XC70 windshield mouldings
Almost every S60 has this problem. The question is does this trim(including the one that meets at the fender and hood junction)help reduce wind noise? On my 2005 S60, the front windshield seems like my primary source of wind noise at speeds equal to and greater than 80km/h. I am almost certain it wa...

Re: Volvo 850 smell of gases in the passenger compartment
Да не е нещо капачката на резервоара. Да се е разхлабила или уплътнението и в последствие от там да избиват изпаренията.

Re: Probably doing a first start tomorrow. Hope it works. (Cracked cylinder head)
I did as you said and installed the camshafts like that. I will be doing a start today if time is forgiving. Also it's 30c today, humid and my concrete garage is like an oven. For reference, it looks like this https://imgur.com/iY8mjAB I only hope I did not cause blown crank seals, I mean the one on...
