Re: 03' V70 2.4T rats and lousy parts quality, what to do?
The corteco seals leak immediately upon installation. Like immediately. They dont seem to be designed with some spec in mind more like thoughts and prayers. Same for ELRING. Original is the way to go I think and my next attempt(or lots of sealant).

Re: 2007 Volvo XC70 - A/C Problems, Where to start...?
No special coloring required for UV light? I have the same issue as OP. I basically over some span had my refrigerant leak out last year with hissing behind dashboard but only for a few moments at a time. With the heats now, it has become unbearable in the car, at the same time any charging which co...

Re: Vida CEM swapping
One can always tune the parameter to make it as worse as needed. I have crafted a small application that will, provided you have a binary dump of an AW55(5 speed), will try and extract the memory address of the adaptation. Then one should note the original value of the adaptation for garage shifts(a...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
Sorry for your loss. The paint is amazing, I am afraid before I got my S60, the previous owner had it repainted(most likely after a crash), but it was a sloppy paintjob and the coating has fallen. In fact it fell because of automotive shampoos. My rear bumper is also fairly bad, it has no clear coat...

Re: How to disable Neutral Control on 2005 S80
Neutral control is disabled in one of two ways. Via CEM, but only when TCM allows it(depends on if you have all the new software)
Last way is reprogramming TCM. It's a 1 byte configuration change.
I could in theory disable it for you, but in practice I cannot easily patch your checksum.

Re: Vida CEM swapping
Despite not touching anything related to 3-4 upshift, I have developed a harsher upshift. For 2-3 I have increase the shift time to almost double to get more smoothness, but in the process of doing so, there is a slight flare but not in all conditions. So instead I plan to reduce shift times to less...

Re: ‘01 Stop/neutral TCM Update
while I do not have a old TCM dump, it really is down to 1 byte configuration change to disable Neutral Control.
You change one byte from a 1 to a 0. And that is it. The problem of course is flashing it.
