@vtl, can you rephrase your previous post? To me synchronization can be described more as a mismatch of some timing, like a peripheral clock and you need to sync the two endpoints. Perhaps you meant that the immobilizer key is to be updated in the ECU or maybe it's a hashed value of the immobilizer...

It's been a long saga trying to get my '04 XC90 back in operation. I was having seemingly random electrical failures. When I heated the CEM with a heat gun (on low), all would work - for a little while. I sent the CEM to Total Auto Tech in San Jose, who transferred everything to an '03 CEM. I got it...

The "not so good" copied dice versions, seem to have probs with the send periodic msg function which is used for prog mode. I try to do a workaround later...

What is the 3 byte pincode that is used with DHA? Is it different from the 6byte pin or is it possible to convert it to 3 byte pin? Or am i missing something here?
