I bought the ipd vac hose kits for both the 850 and the P2. It’s an assorted color pack, and 1000% easier to route and see where you are compared to oily black ones. Unfortunately not a practical option as I live outside the USA. The odd situation I'm now in is that I can get either 4mm vacuum line...

If you have ECC (Electronic climate control) it sounds like the other one may be MCC (mechanical control). If you don't want the rest of the dash, just swap over the top. Can't think why you need to swap it all over. It is a lot more work, unless you want to go and check the dash mounts for damage. ...

Mounting it the proper way makes a BIG difference for noise and organization. The first time I figured out how to do it right I was amazed lol.

It does act as a shroud and channels air through the radiator and A/C. There is a lower duct that pushes more air up and into the radiator.
