Re: V70 '98 crank, no start. Out of ideas [Fenix, IMMO3]
The 98 V70 computers are interchangeable, although the 10V is quite a bit more rare if i recall. I had issues with the manual climate control system having cold solder joints and malfunctioning. Reflowing the connector fixed the issue. You could carefully reflow the ECM connector and see if that hel...

Re: V70 '98 crank, no start. Out of ideas [Fenix, IMMO3]
Depends on your engine management system: Fenix 5.2 and Motronic 4.3 connect pin 2 on immobolizer to pin 5 on ECM plus pin 4 of IMMO to 36 on the ECM in the case of Motronic 4.3; Motronic 4.4 and MSA 15.7 connects pin 4 of IMMO to 36 of ECM. I would think the ECM controls everything not the IMMO. Ed...

Re: V70 '98 crank, no start. Out of ideas [Fenix, IMMO3]
That wiring diagram is different from what I have. The link you sent is for a '99. The signal from the IMMO is a wave form I believe, so you would need an oscilloscope or similar.

Re: V70 '98 crank, no start. Out of ideas [Fenix, IMMO3]
What I have does not distinguish between 10V and 20V. The Service Manual has an incomplete components list so I attached separate docs for that but don't know what year they're applicable to. I have a 2000 S70 so I would guess they're for that.

Do you not have access to a scanner? @xanthefin has an Android app called 850 OBDII that you can get on Google Play for about $4. Just need to buy an ELM32 bluetooth adapter. It can show you the status of different components.

Another way to disconnect fuel lines at fuel pump
I put these under the fittings and pulled up.
They engaged the retainer rings surprisingly well.
Thanks to the other threads on here that showed the construction of the fittings as it's impossible to see under there.
The fittings are like the push-on plastic fittings sold at hardware stores.
