Re: 2007 Volvo XC70 - A/C Problems, Where to start...?
No fan means no air over the condenser when the car's not in motion means no cooling is going to happen. Plus your pressure's going to go pretty high, I'd imagine. Fix your fan first of all.

Re: Top PCV Hose Leak - New Hose - 2007 Volvo XC70
When you use an oetiker clamp there they neither leak nor come off unless the crankcase has excessive pressure. You can use hose clamps on hoses and kids fingers at birthday parties.

Hello, years ago I had the same problem, hard to open, I spayed wd40 to the latch and hand lever but the problem still there,so I removed the back door cover ,look inside and squeezed the hand lever to see which part is moving, and saw the flat spring had a friction contact with the rod unlock linkage...

Re: 2004 XC70 tailgate latch problem
There is a small spring inside the latch that can break. I had this issue with our 06 XC70 where the latch would not lock. I replaced the whole unit but ultimately out of curiosity I opened the unit up and replaced the spring. Unit is now on the shelf for a back up should it be needed. As has been s...

Re: 2007 Volvo XC70 - A/C Problems, Where to start...?
The fan is critical for AC operation as it pulls the heat from the condensor. It will chamge the low and high pressure AC readings drastically.

Re: Faulty radio replacement - 2006 V70 T5
Thank you very much for all the info. That is very helpful. I need to confirm that it is an 850 currently. So the amp for the 850 is under the front seat. Drinker's seat? Passenger seat? The P80's with an amp, they were under the passenger seat, so I assume that is the same here. I'll pass the info ...

Re: 2007 XC70 (P2) - Excessive Vibrations Under Acceleration
Vibration under acceleration is usually worn tripods in axles. If you're handy, you can add a shim to tripod, so it sits deeper in the housing. Or convert to XC90 2.5T axles.

Re: 2007 XC70 (P2) - Excessive Vibrations Under Acceleration
This sounds like classic CV axle failure, most likely the passenger side. I would ask to confirm; what speed does it vibrate most at, has it been getting worse rapidly, is it worse on heavier acceleration? You mentioned that it goes away under lighter load (ie: cruising or coasting downhill). Your o...

Re: 2007 XC70 (P2) - Excessive Vibrations Under Acceleration
I put the front end on jackstands, chocked the rear wheels, removed the haldex fuse , remove front wheels , started the engine and put it in D, let the wheels spin at idle ...a $15 stethoscope found the source , it was a front bearing. https://www.amazon.com/ZKTOOL-Mechanics-Stethoscope-Automotive-D...
