Low battery voltage can be an issue. How old is the battery? Will it start with a jump?

Try cranking with accelerator held to floor. A bad Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor can cause serious starting issues. if it starts, replace ECT and thermostat. Careful with the thermostat housing bolts. Those can seize. Spray liberally with PB Blaster before attempting removal.

If you go the eBay cheapo core route (as I have done before) make sure you run it through the dishwasher before installing. Otherwise you'll be smelling an oil residue from manufacturing for months.

Could be lots of stuff. What's the current status of ignition components? Plugs, rotor, cap, wires? How old is the fuel pump relay? Original to the car? I've been disappointed with longevity when using anything other than genuine Volvo sway bar links on my P80s. Haven't had to replace them on a P2 yet, but I'd go genuine if I had to replace them. Worst of the aftermarket for me were IPD "heavy duty" but that was years ago under prior owner...
