You can disconnect the wiring harness at the ECU box. Remove the two engine side parts of the ECM/TCM connectors and undo the ground under the pass light. Looking from inside trunk there are two red switches at each latch mechanism. Flip them and the bi-fold seats will not fold down. The rear armrest access hatch is still a problem though.
