I agree, I'd get Bosch not the IPD HD ones.
Used will likely work just fine to keep the car running but may not improve the smoothness like new will. I measured 10% improved mpg (!) with new Bosch coils on our 07 XC70, replaced preventively.

Re: Lesson learned (Ignition Coil Purchase)
Yes!
My wife was driving the same out-of-town workplace every week for a couple months. MPGs went from 21.something to 23.something with solely swapping the coils. Same gas station, same route, same driver, across a few full tanks of gas.

Re: Help! New CV axle....now it won't shift at all
Good on you for giving it a shot. Wheel bearing and CV shaft are both DIY territory. Driver side CV shaft can be tricky with the circlip to get it out and slid/locked back in. My main concern would be having had something fall into the transmission. Can you verify the circlip is still on your old sh...

Re: Can't get drivers side axle out.
Success! I got a bunch of crow-bars and chisels at harbor freight, and I tried to use them for about an hour. I decided to give the axle popper another chance, and in my anger fueled swing the axle popped out! I don't know if using the chisels loosened it somehow, but I spend a long time trying to u...

Re: Mopar appreciators' thread
That's a good looking Dart Swinger and probably well equipped if it had the rallye wheels, do you remember if it had A/C? I liked the yellow that was offered on those too! Here are a couple pictures of the Charger from last summer, I put 843 miles on it in the last 2 years and took off the tires whe...

Re: Does anyone repair ECC modules?
You can’t just publish a site and tell people to read the directions and then capture the cash in garbage bins? 😀😀😀 I'm a middle-aged dude trying to limit my contact with people, or at least what a lot of people have become. It used to be a smooth operation up until maybe 5 years ago. That's when I...

Re: 850 Manual Turbo 1995 Getting Only 0.5 BAR
Ok, finally found the problem. I put a fuel pressure Guage on there and let the car run and run, until it started acting up. I noticed the fuel pressure drop to about 11-PSI. Pulled the pump and found the rubber fuel line had slid down and was barely connected to the sending unit assembly. I replace...
