Positive 2001-2007 DIM repair tale

Merry Christmas to all... Every element of my 2007 V70's DIM went nuts at 151,000 miles. A Google search shows more repair shops have opened. One shop in Georgia, USA is having a special on P2 DIM repair; $299. I expected triple that. Shipping was not included in that price. The additional $42 I pai...

Re: Vida CEM swapping

Hello everyone, This is my first comment here, but I've been observing and noting many things for the past month, to be able to build my own PIN cracker. I was a bit worried since the CEM P/N found in my car (31296881) is still in Unconfirmed status in vtl's code, but I'd like to confirm that I didn...

Re: Rear End Suspension Link Replacement 3516122

This is such a great write up! I'd need to replace my delta link frame mount on the driver's side (left). I'm not touching the delta links this time. It seems in the pictures that Ozark Lee's car is not jacked up - is it possible to remove and install the mounting bracket with wheels on the ground?...

Re: 1999 Volvo V70 GLT (P80) Central Locking, Fuel Door, and Hatch Failure

I had this issue a few months ago, also on a 99. The wiring harness on my drivers side door was eaten through, and I had to fix a few broken connections that went into the drivers door control panel. Same symptoms as yours (Hatch release not working, intermittent central locking), but mine was causi...

Re: 850 Switch seats for electricals ones

It is not too terrible a job to do, but takes time and you will need wire 'hog' rings and tool to reinstall the covers, but as Robert shows you can use zipties instead. The backs of the seats are the hardest to do. I can't recall if the 850 is the same as the V/S70 P80's where you have to remove the...

1996 Volvo 850 N/A Wagon, Complete Records + Parts, $1600 OBO, NC

https://lightr.net/V850/V850_Ad_30.jpeg This 1996 Volvo 850 Estate in Regent Red Metallic with a black/grey cloth interior is a fine working example of the type. It is my favorite car: endlessly useful, incredibly resilient, and surprisingly modern. I am the third owner; the car comes with complete...
