Re: POLL: How did you buy from FCP?
So add point of habit I always type in a url manually. I've been an online business owner for a long time and advertising is expensive. So I always type it out as opposed to the pay per click link. I learned about FCP from MVS, and quite frankly would never have gone there even once without MVS. But...

Re: POLL: How did you buy from FCP?
I too sent FCP an email with my thought on their decision. Now that eeuroparts has a similar warranty I may try them for a while.

Re: POLL: How did you buy from FCP?
FCP might see different if there was a way to link a FCP account to MVS.
FCP might see the light if they read MVS and seen all the word of mouth recommendations for FCP. Any business manager worth his salt knows the value of word of mouth recommendations

Re: POLL: How did you buy from FCP?
Car forums are generally in decline with the recent rise of Facebook, Instagram, and other social media feeds that bring relevant #content right into things we click through anyway. Too, advertisers can now splash their ads on literally any website we visit - I see ads from FCP and eEuroParts for th...

Re: POLL: How did you buy from FCP?
Well said, j-dawg. The silver lining of the movement away from car forums is that after all these new players, the best place for repairs is still a car forum. Facebook moves too fast to be a good repository for repair information. I can't remember the last time I saw a FB post from more than a wee...

Re: POLL: How did you buy from FCP?
I learned of FCPGroton 18 years ago on this site. Two Volvo’s, and two 3 series BMW’s have been maintained and restored using FCP parts.

A little update, I have both the Assenmacher V410 and Lisle 61660 86mm 16-Flute Tools: $16 vs $8 comparison... You can read amazon reviews, and this is my review, which is similar to amazon reviews... - The Assenmacher V410 is well constructed (Aluminum) and fits the oil filter cap tightly. It is a ...

Re: If you hate your door chime...
Thanks so much for posting this, I just removed mine, hallelijia. I'm going to go Office Space on that damn relay: https://youtu.be/N9wsjroVlu8 For anyone else following these instructions, it wasn't obvious to me that the relay is inside the car, not under the hood. So remove the panel above your k...

Re: POLL: How did you buy from FCP?
I too learned of FCP Groton from MVS 10 years ago. At that time there was a code to get a discount like eEuro has now. Through the years they changed to rewards codes they would send via email or attach to your account page. When they started the lifetime replacement policy, the discounts went away ...
