I think they were 4 or 5mm from the factory, and 3/16 is right in between, so you should be good with that. I think all vacum hoses except the large one for the crank ventilation are the same diameter.

I have had good luck using thick wall silicone tubing, diameter 4, 6, 8mm to cover different hoses in the engine bay on my 1997 855. One good source is https://www.verociousmotorsports.com/ve ... y-the-foot

Those quick struts were junk. Same story on my 01v70xc. Sachs stopped making them anyway. All chineesium quick struts are junk. Save yourself headache and just buy individual parts to assemble oem style strut(original springs not mubea, lesforders or whatever else fcp sells. Oem only and you will be...

I honestly not a big fan of volvo springs at all. Just replaced rear springs on 2015xc60 since one broke at 67k. Volvo parts department STOCK them and told me "yes we sell them often".
