With Hepu pumps, just check the bearing while the belt is off. They can be good but sometimes not as good as they should be. I tend to stick to Aisin if possible.

There were 23 and 21 mm belts. I don't know which year and motor gots the the narrow ines. I've seen data say 21mm was upnto 93, others say till 95. Maybe Turbos got 23 from the beginning.
